I work with charities to promote conscious leadership that’s emotionally aware, authentic, and resilient. This helps leaders build stronger relationships, deliver on strategy, improve retention, and create positive transformative change that aligns with their organisation’s values and purpose.
In collaboration with charitable organisations and their leaders, I foster a more conscious leadership style that embodies emotional awareness, authenticity, and resilience. This approach enables leaders to develop self-confidence, refine their leadership techniques, and establish stronger relationships with their teams. Conscious leadership is not only about personal integrity—it also delivers tangible organisational benefits, such as more effective and motivated teams, reduced conflict, a responsible business approach, and improved outputs that enhance both social impact and overarching sustainability.
Charitable leaders usually excel in their roles and are deeply committed to their organisation’s mission. They are responsible for delivering strategy, supporting their teams, and ensuring services reach their community. Yet even strong leaders can fall short of showing up authentically or at their best. Signs of this include disengagement, strained communication, rising team conflict, or a lack of compassion and presence. These challenges often stem from neglecting their own well-being or overlooking the needs of their teams—commonly the result of fundraising pressures and limited access to new funding streams or a lack /misunderstanding of purpose. When this happens, leaders risk losing relatability, awareness, and the ability to inspire those around them or to keep adequate momentum.
My expertise lies in helping leaders recognise these patterns and cultivate authentic leadership styles grounded in empathy, self-reflection, resilience, and continual learning. By supporting leaders to meet both their own emotional needs and those of their teams, I facilitate stronger communication, greater retention, and a renewed sense of connection—benefits that ultimately translate into healthier organisations and greater community impact.
As an end-of-life cancer survivor, I’ve faced life’s biggest challenges, including learning to walk again and confronting death. This has given me empathy, resilience, and a perspective of unity. My personal experience, combined with my professional expertise, offers a unique perspective on delivering transformation aligned with an organisation’s values while safeguarding people, planet, and profit.
