I help technology companies to support neurodivergent employees in line with employment law, so that they can reduce the risk of tribunals, strengthen team performance, and foster a neuroinclusive culture that attracts and retains diverse talent.
About
Neurodiversity is a complex, rapidly evolving and widely misunderstood topic. This is further complicated by historical stigma, lack of education and an overburdened healthcare system. When it comes to the workplace, employment law can be highly nuanced, best practice is unclear, and no two neurodivergent people are the same.
Fearful of saying or doing the wrong thing, many companies and their leadership avoid addressing it altogether, and even with the best intentions, many others still miss the mark, leaving neurodivergent employees unable to access the support and adjustments needed to perform their job role, and their employer at risk of breaking employment laws.
Line managers are often juggling so many responsibilities, they do not make time for reasonable adjustments, understand their value or realise their legal obligations to support neurodivergent employees.
As a result of this more companies than ever are facing legal action, with 13% having been involved in tribunals relating to neurodiversity, while many others experience issues with performance, absence, and the loss of valuable neurodivergent talent.
As someone who spent years working in corporate as a high-masking, neurodivergent woman, Gemma Rebeiro understands first-hand the challenges that unsupported neurodivergent people face in the workplace. After hitting burnout and overcoming a chronic autoimmune illness, Gemma set up ADD Awareness to equip organisations with the confidence and tools to enhance the wellbeing, performance and retention of neurodivergent talent.
Drawing on her personal experiences, she helps clients embed a practical, legally compliant and human-centred approach to neuroinclusion, so that they can foster collaboration, optimise performance and protect themselves against reputational and financial losses associated with neurodiversity tribunals.

- ADHD and neurodiversity coaching: Individual or group coaching sessions to help neurodivergent employees overcome workplace challenges, build confidence and manage executive functioning difficulties such as maintaining focus, time management and regulating emotions. We also create a personalised package of adjustments that the employee and their manager can implement to support their ongoing performance.
- Line manager coaching: We equip line managers with the confidence and competence to successfully lead neurodivergent employees, helping them feel happy, supported and able to operate at peak performance.
