At Purple Sky Consulting, we help Executive Leadership Teams turn their talented managers into successful mid-senior level leaders. We help you promote more of your talent, reducing your reliance, costs and the risks of external hiring, whilst increasing engagement, retention and performance.

We work with you to prepare your talent so you can confidently promote more managers into leadership roles. We then get them to a place of high-performance, quickly. They become a leader who is clear, confident and effective, and lead teams who want to work with them because of the positive impact they have on engagement, wellbeing and performance.

When organisations invest in promoting talent to your leadership teams, they reduce disruption in performance (on average, there is a 15% drop in performance when a leader struggles moving to a bigger role), they mitigate impacts on engagement (when they struggle, organisations see a 20% increase in team attrition), and they reduce the time it takes to get to a positive performance level (49% of promoted leaders are still struggling after 18 months).

Our focus on the preparation and promotion of talent to leadership roles comes from our founder, Anwen Bottois’ experience of this transition. Anwen recognised how underprepared and unsupported most managers are when they step up to leadership roles. They are moving from managing tasks and people to leading strategy and managers (often peers) and this requires something different.

At Purple Sky Consulting, we use these experiences, insights into what works for effective leadership, and our passion for helping others to shine, to work with organisations to prepare, promote and enable high-performing mid-senior level leaders. Anwen is an ILM Level 7 Executive and Senior Leader Coach and Mentor, a Member of the EMCC, and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. All members of the Purple Sky Consulting team meet high levels of qualification, experience and Anwen’s standards.
