I help organisations safeguard their leadership pipeline, retain their highest performers and strengthen their reputation as employers who value and protect their people.

About

I help tech organisations protect and maximise the value of their leadership talent by providing executive coaching psychology programmes that build sustainable high performance, and tackle and prevent burnout.

You might recognise some of these problems in your organisation:

  • High-performing leaders showing signs of exhaustion, reactive decision-making and reduced communication effectiveness.
  • Attrition risk in engineering or product leadership roles that drives up recruitment costs and lead times for rare skill-sets.
  • Teams slowed by leader burnout which results in missed deadlines, poor prioritisation and rising conflict.
  • Leaders lacking the skills to support wellbeing, which leads to disengagement and presenteeism across teams.
  • A hidden risk: your highest performers may be the most vulnerable to burnout. The very leaders who give the most, with strong drive, high standards and a consistent track record of delivery, are often the ones at greatest risk of exhaustion.

These issues affect more than individuals. They reduce delivery speed, increase costs and can damage reputation when top talent leaves.

Through coaching psychology I help leaders and organisations to:

  • Restore clarity, energy and focus so leaders can make faster, better-quality decisions.
  • Build sustainable work habits that reduce firefighting and improve strategic oversight.
  • Strengthen emotional regulation and communication, which improves team dynamics.
  • Increase retention of key staff, reducing costly turnover and protecting project continuity.
  • Reduce absenteeism and presenteeism, leading to better productivity across teams.
  • Position the company as a desirable employer that invests in and protects its people, which attracts and retains top-tier talent.

The result is resilient leaders, engaged teams and stronger business performance.

Why organisations should work with me

The investment in executive coaching results in increased individual performance, team performance and, therefore, organisational performance, alongside improved organisational culture. Research indicates that you can expect at least a 7× ROI.

Burnout is a serious business issue. The World Health Organization defines it as exhaustion, cynicism and reduced professional efficacy, all of which directly weaken leadership capacity. In 2025, 22% of engineering leaders and developers reported being critically burned out, with another 24% moderately so. In the UK, stress, depression and anxiety led to 16.4 million lost working days in 2023/24, with an average of 21.1 days lost per affected employee. In my experience, leaders who are signed off with burnout will often be out of the workplace for over 12 months.

It is often the highest-performing leaders who are hit hardest. Their ambition, dedication and resilience make them invaluable, but also more likely to overextend. Losing them has a disproportionate impact, both financially and culturally. Protecting these individuals is about safeguarding the future of the organisation.

My approach

I combine psychological expertise (MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing, multiple diplomas in coaching and therapy) with nearly 20 years of working alongside the tech industry before becoming a coaching psychologist. That background means I understand pressure, and I know how to translate psychological science into practical, business-focused results.
