I help sports companies to support their employees with ADHD so that the entire organisation benefits from enhanced performance and productivity.

The sports industry depends on performance, innovation and teamwork, and naturally attracts dynamic, neurodivergent thinkers who bring a unique energy and creativity to their jobs. However, without support, people with ADHD can experience difficulties with organisation and overwhelm. This can lead to lower productivity, higher staff turnover and missed opportunities.

I specialise in helping sports organisations like yours to create environments where employees with ADHD can truly thrive. Through coaching, training and consultancy, I help individuals, leaders and teams to understand the impact of ADHD and learn how best to work with it. The right support allows you to develop your employees’ incredible talents and strengths, leading to better staff retention, a stronger team culture and greater success.

ADHD coaching helps employees build confidence, learn to work with their natural strengths and improve communication skills to boost wellbeing and performance. Individuals with ADHD often struggle with focus, coping with distractions and time management. Specialised coaching helps develop these executive functions to improve attention to detail and ensure smoother workflows so that project deadlines are met.

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed and this can impact their ability to prioritise and complete tasks. Tailored support can help ease this pressure, helping them to manage different priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.

I also provide coaching and training for managers on how to support ADHD employees to help them remain motivated and engaged, improving staff retention and performance.

There’s a high association between ADHD and other types of neurodiversity such as autism and dyslexia, as well as mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. Understanding their impact on wellbeing and performance is crucial. ADHD awareness training has a huge role to play in empowering managers and team members to provide the most appropriate support.

I have both professional and personal experience of the impact of ADHD. During my 25-year career as a senior publishing executive and editor at a leading UK media company, I faced the challenges of managing ADHD in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment, both personally and as a manager responsible for team members with ADHD. My lived experience means I fully understand the difficulties — and the advantages — that ADHD brings to the workplace.

As a parent of a child with ADHD, I also understand its impact from a family perspective, and recognise the huge benefits that workplace support can bring in terms of reduced stress and overall wellbeing.

My credentials include ICF certification and advanced training from ADDCA, the prestigious New York-based academy recognised as the gold standard in ADHD coaching education. I’m an accredited member of both ICF (International Coaching Federation) and ACO (ADHD Coaches Organization). My approach is to combine science-based knowledge with a positive attitude to problem solving and  I’m committed to providing an empathetic, supportive space where my clients feel heard and understood.

  • Coaching late-diagnosed women with ADHD, a group that is growing in numbers, and who are at risk of burnout due to years of masking.

  • Practical workshops, providing tools and techniques to improve concentration, boost organisational skills and reduce overwhelm.
  • Consulting on processes, workflows and communication methods to make systems as accessible as possible and improve productivity.
  • Training leaders in neuro-inclusive language and communication to improve engagement and attract new talent.
  • Advising on reasonable adjustments for ADHD in the workplace, including environment, tech and flexible working, to improve performance and to ensure that organisations meet legal requirements.
